Soybean fiber is a new type of regenerated plant protein fiber made from degreased soybean meal, extracted from plant globulin, and synthesized. It is independently developed by Chinese textile science and technology workers and has achieved high-tech industrial production internationally. It is also the only fiber invention with complete intellectual property rights that China has obtained so far.

Before becoming fiber, protein and polymers need to be extracted from soybeans as raw materials, processed with high-tech technologies such as biotechnology, and then wet spun. This type of monofilament has fine fineness, light specific gravity, high tensile strength, strong acid and alkali resistance, and good moisture absorption and conductivity. Its smoothness, lightness, and softness can retain the luster and delicacy of worsted fabrics, increase the smoothness and texture, and is also an ideal fabric for producing lightweight and soft high-end suits and coats.

The fabric made by interweaving soybean fiber with real silk or blending it with silk can not only maintain the shiny and flowing characteristics of silk, but also improve its drape, eliminate sweat stains and the characteristics of moisture absorption and skin adhesion. It is an ideal fabric for making high-end clothing such as pajamas, shirts, and evening gowns.

In addition, blending soybean fiber with linen and other hemp fibers is an ideal fabric for making functional underwear and summer clothing; High count yarn blended with cotton is an ideal material for manufacturing high-end shirts and bedding; Alternatively, a small amount of spandex can be added to create a soft and comfortable feel, suitable for making T-shirts, underwear, beach wear, casual wear, sportswear, fashionable women’s clothing, etc., with a very casual style.

Soybean protein fiber was successfully developed by Mr. Li Guanqi, Chairman of Huakang Group, after ten years of research and development, and won the World Invention Patent Gold Award. Countries such as the United States and Japan conducted research on soybean protein fibers in the mid-19th century, and the United States even gave their soybean fibers a trade name, but all failed due to not meeting the technical indicators required for textiles; Secondly, he is the first person in the history of artificial fiber invention in China. Soybean fiber is known as the eighth largest artificial fiber in the world, and the first seven types of polyester, nylon, spandex, acrylic, viscose, polypropylene, and vinylon are all foreign inventions.
